The PTT Pattaya Open, which is going to be held in Pattaya City, Thailand will take place starting February 7th, 2011 and will go until the 13th. This is going to be an International tournament and it will be held outdoors on hard courts with a singles draw of 32 and a doubles draw of 16. These ladies will be competing for a prize purse of $220,000. Last year, the final game down to Lucie Safarova and Elene Dementieva with both losing finals in Paris before, and it was Dementieva that came out on top with a score of 6-7, 6-1, 6-4.
Our top seed for the PTT Pattaya Open is Kim Clijsters from Belgium and the second seed is Estonia's Kaia Kanepi.
