The WTA Tour will play the HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2011 in Osaka, Japan this week, outdoors on hard courts, from the 10th of October to the 16th. This tournament is an international level one and it is worth $220,000, with a singles draw of 32 and a doubles draw of 16. Also being played from the 10th to the 16th is the Generali Ladies Linz in Austria, also worth $220,000. Last year in this tournament, the final came down to Kimiko Date Krumm and Tamarine Tanasugarn.
