Some of the players that will be competing in this year's ITF Saint Gaudens include China's Shuai Zhang, who leads the main draw. Arantxa Rus from Netherlands is next and Anna Tatishvili is third. Vesna Dolonts from Russia takes the fourth spot in the main draw and another Russian, Anastasia Pivovarova is fifth. The fifty thousand dollar Saint Gauden Tournament in France happens this May 11th through the 17th. The main draw is made up of 19 great players from the women of ITF including 65th ranked Petra Cetkovska, Anastasia Yakimova, Jarmila Groth, Kirsten Flipkens, Pauline Parnentier and Yanina Wickmayer.

The Qualifier's list is made of up twenty-five women including Katalin Marosi from Hungaria, Russian Players Vesna Manasieva and Elena Bovina. Also, Anna Tatishvili and Japan's Rika Fujiwara are qualifiers as well. Anne Schaefer is in the number six position in the qualifier's list and Georgia Stoop, Regina Kulikova from Russian and Regina Kulikova will be participating as well. There are also thirty-nine alternates listed.

 

The ITF women's circuit is set up to that women who are aiming for the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour can get started and have a place to show their skills. The ITF has over 300 tournaments that take place in over 60 countries providing opportunities worldwide for the women to battle their way to the next level. More than six million dollars in prize money is offered each year.
