The WTA tournament in Charleston, South Carolina starts on April 4^th and runs until the 10^th. This is a premier level tournament that is called the Family Circle Cup and it takes place outdoors on Green Clay with a prize purse of $721,000 with a singles draw of 56 and a doubles draw of 16. Last year, Samantha Stosur was able to make even more of a name for herself by winning the Family Circle Cup and then went on to be a finalist at Roland Garros and has moved into the top five players. She will return this year to defend her title.
