The WTA Tour will head to Bali, Indonesia, for a tournament that will be the final event of the year for the Tour. This is an indoors hard court tournament worth $600,000 with a singles draw of eight. It will start on the 3rd of November and will be the tournament of champions for the International Series. It was joined by the other season ending championship, the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships, which happened starting the 25th of October and was worth just shy of $5,000,000, won by Petra Kvitova and Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond.

Marion Bartoli from France is the top seed for this tournament followed by the 16th ranked Shuai Peng from China. Sabine Lisicki from Germany is third and Roberta Vinci takes the fourth seed spot.
