Jerzy Janowicz v Andy Murray Live
Second seeded Andy Murray takes on a shocking semi-finalist opponent in Polands Jerzy Janowicz in the Wimbledon 2013 semi-final that will be played on Friday.
Murray takes on the 22-year old Polish player Janowicz on centre court after he needed to overcome a two set to love trailing against Fernando Verdasco in the quarter-final last match. He came back strongly and needed 7-5 in the last set to make to to the last-four stage.
Earlier though the crowd favorite has had it very easy, having overcome all his previous opponents in straight sets and without any issues.
Janowicz is playing his first ever Wimbledon semi-final, in fact he’s playing his first ever Grand Slam semi-final and he got there by beating his countryman Lukasz Kubot in the previous match.
He has also already beaten Jurgen Melzer, Nicolas Almagro, Radek Stepanek and Kyle Edmund to enter the semi-finals.
With Murray on a 16-match winning streak it will be difficult to defeat the champion player, who had won the US Open last year. He’s played Janowicz twice and won and lost once apiece. Should be a cakewalk for Murray anyway.
