On Wednesday, July 4^th, Day Nine of The Championships Wimbledon will see David Ferrer, the number seven seed from Spain face off against the number four seed, Andy Murray from Great Britain, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, our third Grand Slam tennis event of the year. They will be facing off at Centre Court at 1:00PM for the quarterfinals of the men's singles, and they will be joined by another two who hope to make it to the semifinals, Roger Federer and Mikhail Youzhny who also play at 1:00PM.

David Ferrer is playing in this tenth Wimbledon tournament. He has never made it to his point before, as his previous best showing was the fourth round of the tournament. He was able to make it to round four three times, the first in 2006 and then for the last two years in a row. As for Andy Murray, he has played in six Wimbledons in the past, but he is no stranger to the semifinals, having made it there on three different occasions. All three of those showings were the last three years in a row and he also made it to the first round in doubles.
