Andy Murray v Roberto Bautista Agut Live
In his very first professional match back in 2005, Andy Murray (then 17 years old, ranked 397.) has faced Jan Hernych from the Czech Republic. Although the Scot won the first set 6-3, Hernych came back, winning the next two by a score of 6-4, handing Murray his first ever professional loss, in his first ever professional match.
Hernych (now 34 years old) is still playing, and not only he qualified for the main draw of Wimbledon, he also managed to win his first round match, getting close to setting up a re-match with Andy Murray 9 years later.
Roberto Bautista Agut had other ideas in mind, and the 27th seeded Spaniard dispatched Hernych in 4 sets, relatively easily, winning the third and the fourth set with a score of 6-2.
It’s tough to see him advancing further however, as Andy Murray looks to be in an excellent form. The Scot dropped only 2 games during his 2nd round match against Rola, which is extremely rare on grass in a best of 5 match.
Roberto Bautista Agut is a good player, but he stands little to no chance against a hungry and healthy Andy Murray on this surface. The Scot has a very favorable draw up until a possible quarterfinal clash with Bulgarian hope Grigor Dimitrov.
