On the fifth day of play for the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York, the Arthur Ashe Stadium will be hosting a third round tournament at 11:00AM between Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues and Vera Zvonareva from Russia. Anabel Medina Garrigues is the 30^th seed in this tournament and will be playing in her 9^th U.S. Open this year. She previously was able to make it to the third round of the competition twice. As for Vera Zvonareva, she is the number two seed and was a finalist in last year's tournament.
