Novak Djokovic v Roger Federer Live
Novak Djokovic, the number one seed from Serbia will take on the number three seed, Swiss player Roger Federer, at the Court Philippe Chatrier at 1:00PM, in the semifinals of the French Open for the men's singles competition. This game will be played at Roland Garros in Paris, France, in our second tennis Grand Slam event of the year. Also playing that day, at that time slot, David Ferrer and Rafael Nadal, the number six seed and the number two seed respectively, and both from Spain, also in a semifinals match.
Novak Djokovic has played seven times in the French Open, and three of those times he was able to make it to the semifinals of this competition. The most recent was in 2011, but also in 2007 and 2008. He had to beat Jo Wilfried Tsonga from France to get to this point in the competition. As for Roger Federer, he has played in thirteen French Opens, but was only able to take home a win once, and that was in 2009. If the hadn't taken that win, then it probably would have gone to Nadal, giving him consecutive titles from 2006 to 2011 and possibly beyond.
