Monday, May 23^rd is the second day of the 2011 French Open regular tournament matches, and Roger Federer and Spaniard Feliciano Lopez play the first round. Federer is seeded third in the tournament, and the match will happen at the Court Philippe Chatrier starting at 11:00AM, where last year's women's singles champion Francesca Shiavone will be playing her own first round match. This is going to be a great match in the first round of the 2011 French Open, which started regular match-ups on Sunday, May 22^nd.

2010 was the first time since 2004 that we did not see Roger Federer at least make it to the semifinals. He was knocked out in the quarterfinals last year by Robin Soderling. As for Feliciano Lopez, he has played previously in ten French Open competitions, but has never made it past the fourth round of the tournament.
