South Africa will play Croatia for the first in the Davis Cup, with the tournament extending from the 16^th of September to the 18^th. This is the Davis Cup Playoffs, and the world group semifinals will feature Serbia and Argentina as well as Spain and France. South Africa is playing to be part of the World Group next year and their last match was again the Netherlands, where they took two singles and one doubles rubber to win. Croatia is in the playoffs because of their loss to Germany in the first round of the World Group in a match in Zagreb.
