This weekend it's Fed Cup matchup time and World Group and World Group II are all playing round one. Australia is playing Spain in World Group II, and the Slovak Republic will take on China. Also Estonia will face off against Argentina and of course, Ukraine and Italy are the fourth in this matching set. The big tourney takes place between Slovakia and China at Sibamac Arena at the National Tennis Center and you can watch it live by getting your membership at the banners on this page. These two teams are matched up for the very first time so who knows what will happen in this match. They are pretty close to even in the ITF Fed Cup Nations Rankings. China is ranked ninth and Slovakia is thirteenth. The Slovak Republic won one title in its history, back in 2002 and it will be hoping to improve that this year. Helping to make that happen is team captain Matej Liptak and players Dominika Cibulkova, Kristina Kucova, Daniela Hantuchova and Magdalena Rybarikova to make a group ready to dominate China.

China hasn't even had a title yet, but they did make it to the semi-finals in 2008. Last year, they were relegated to World Group II and the Chinese team consists of Shuai Zhang, Jing Jing Lu, Shuai Peng and Jie Zheng as well as Captain Zhong Fu. China earned their spot in World Group II last year by losing to Russia and Germany and this year they will try to turn it around.
