The courts are hard surfaces and this is the first time that France and Serbia have come together in a final, and it looks like this is going to be a good one, and a very close match. This is also the first time that Serbia has been in a final match and they got here by beating the United States 3-2 and Croatia 4-1, as well as the Czech Republic 3-2. Also, Serbia is competing on home soil at the Belgrade Arena, a venue that they have never lost a match in.
As for France, they haven't been in a final in eight years, but they do have a history of taking home the title. If they beat Serbia this year, then they will be taking home their tenth. Their last victory was over Australia, with the tie played at Melbourne, and it ended 3-2. They got here by beating Germany 4-1, Argentina 5-0 and Spain 5-0.
