This tournament will happen September 17^th through the 19^th and will happen at Belgrade Arena in Belgrade with the first day's round happening at 15:00 and day two at the same time. Day Three action starts at 14:00 hours. This is actually the first time that these two have met since both countries gained their independence. However, when they were Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia they played nine times with the most recent tournament in 1991. Those matchups had Czechoslovakia with a 5-4 record over Yugoslavia.

The Serbian team consists of Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki as well as Janko Tipsarevic. Also, Nenad Zimonjic is on the team with Bogdan Obradovic as the Captain of the Serbian Team. The Czech Republic Davis Cup team is captained by Jaroslav Navratil and consists of Tomas Berdych, Radek stepanek, Jan Hajek and Ivo Minar.
