The National Tennis Centre at Astana, Kazakhstan jumps to life as Davis Cup arrives for a fierce start to the world wide tennis cup march and a head-on competition between the home country and Belgium.
Kazakhstan is keen to kick off the first round with an easy victory, as their tennis titan, Mikhail Kukushkin will walk to the court with the Belgian Bemelmans, a player who is currently at the bottom of the ranking lists.
Kukushkin is scheduled to reappear in the fourth round, this time for a match with the Belgian strong hand, David Goffin, an amateur player who reached the world 113th position after he started in 2012, and already has 4 nominations to add to his dazzling profile.
The organizers of the event seem pretty confident about the progress of the Davis Cup. Having made headlines as the biggest international tennis event, and involving more than 130 countries at the present, Davis Cup will continue throughout the year in different areas of the world.
