In the Second Round of the Davis Cup, for the Group One Asia/Oceanic teams, Japan and Uzbekistan will play in a match that happens from July 8^th to the 10^th. This match will happen in Bourbon Beans Dome in Kobe Japan and will be played on hard courts indoor. Both of these teams had to defeat another Group One team to move onto the second round. Japan defeated the Philippines by two points and Uzbekistan's first round match was against New Zealand, who they defeated by just one point. Japan's team this year consists of Kei Nishikori, Tatsuma Ito, Go Soeda and Hiroki Kondo while the Uzbekistan team is composed of Denis Istomin, Farrukh Dustov, Murad Inoyatov and Sarvar Ikramov.
