Davis Cup action continues this week, with Australia and Belgium facing off as well as a match between Kazakhstan and Switzerland, Canada and Dominican Republic and Germany and South Africa. Also, in World Group Playoffs, Israel versus Austria and we have the World Group Semifinals happening too, September 17^th through the 19^th. This tournament will happen at the Nokia Stadium in Tel Avis and will actually happen September 16^th through the 19^th. The first day, action will start at 13:00 and 11:00 on the second day. Day Three, which is Sunday, tournament action starts at 13:30. This is a hard court indoor tournament and these two nations have met five times in the Davis Cup championship. Austria currently leads that head to head by one point, 3 to 2. They met most recently in 2002 in the first round of the Europe/Africa Group One. Last year was the seventh year for Austria in the World Group Playoffs.
