The weekend for Fed Cup is next weekend, with ten different match-ups going on, and starting us off on the premier event in team tennis for women. Both times they had Steffi Graf on their team. The 2010 team consists of Sabine Lisicki, Andreas Petkovic, Julia Goerges, Tatjana Malek and Barbara Rittner as team captain.

France has two Fed Cup titles as well, both of them more recent than the newest German title. France won in 1997 and again in 2003. Amelie Mauresmo helped to win the 2003 title, retiring just last year. The French team this year has Julie Coin, Alize Cornet, Pauline Parmentier and Aravane Rezai.
