Czech Republic v Argentina Live
Argentina meet the Czech Republic for the second time in the semi-finals of the world group and thus will be looking to seek revenge, as they face them, this week. Czech Republic is scheduled to host Argentina in a Hard Indoor environment.
Argentina have had a poor record against the Czech Republic in World Group meetings, only winning in 2005. They will be quite hungry to take revenge of the loss they incurred in the semifinal of the 2012 world group, but they will have to play top notch tennis to overcome the skillful Czech Republic.
Juan Monaco, Carlos Berlocq, Horacio Zeballos and Leonardo Mayer have been chosen to represent Argentina for this semi-final clash. Their top seed, Monaco will be hoping to take his side to a big win.
Czech Republic have made to the semi-finals, by defeating the emerging Kazakhstan team in their own backyard. They will be pretty keen to stabilize their no 1 ranking by winning their remaining two games of the Davis Cup.
Tomas Berdych, Lukas Rosol, Radek Stepanek and Jiri Vesely are the four players named in the Czech Republic squad. They will be training hard to overcome Argentina and reach yet another final of the Davis Cup.

The Czech Republic and Argentina have faced off three different times, each time playing on clay outdoor courts and two of those times Czech Republic walked away with the win, and Argentina had one. The Czechs will be hoping to come back and get a win after their last 5-0 beating from Argentina in the 2005 Davis Cup. They met in the first round, and is the only time that Argentina has had victory in the past three Davis Cup matches between these nations. Argentina has been the runner up in the Davis Cup finals three different times, including last year's where they lost to Spain, while The Czech Republic won the Davis Cup most recently in 1980.
In the first round Czech Republic beat France 3-2 to earn their place in the quarterfinals. They made it to the quarters last year, but were unable to advance any further after being beaten by Russia, so they are looking to make it all the way to the Davis Cup semis for the first time since 1996. They hold the record for most most appearances in the World Group, along with The USA and Sweden, but haven't had a win since 1980. Argentina will be looking for their sixth semi-final in the past eight years. They don't want to end up as they have the past three times they have made it to the finals either, as a runner-up, including last year's Cup. They got their place in the quarters by beating Netherlands 5-0.
