The Premier competition in men's team tennis is continuing this weekend with several match-ups, Czech Republic facing Belgium, Serbia and the U.S., Croatia versus Ecuador and Russian and India, France and Germany and Spain playing Switzerland as well as Sweden versus Argentina. So, we'll see another World Group Playoff Event hosted in Chile as these two nations compete at the Enjoy Tennis Center in Coquimbo, Chile, played on red clay outdoors. These two teams are fairly evenly matched, both having defeated the other one time. Hans Gildemeister is the team captain for Chile with Fernando Gonzales playing, Nicolas Massu, Paul Capdeville and Jorge Aguilar all vying for Davis Cup wins in this playoff event. This is certainly some exciting tennis action and Chile has a well put together team.

The challenger is Israel, and even though these teams have one win each against each other it could be a whole new story with the team changes. The Israeli team captain for 2010 will be Eyal Ran and the players are big names in tennis from Israel.
