Belgium v Great Britain Live
On November 27, Belgium will host Great Britain in the 2015 Davis Cup Final. The tie will be held at the Flanders Expo in Ghent, and the matches will be played on clay.
The last time the Belgians reached the Davis Cup Final was way back, more than a century ago in 1904. They lost that final which means that this victory could be their very first one. Unlike the Belgians, the Brits have won the competition, although it was not a recent victory, taking place in 1936. Britain leads the head-to-head between the two nations 7 to 4, but the Belgians won their last duel 4-1. That leg took place in Glasgow three years ago. Just like in 2012, Great Britain will once again be led by their best player Andy Murray, who did a marvelous tank job during last week's World Tour Finals. Great-Britain played nine rubbers to get here, and Murray played in eight. The Belgians' hopes rest on the shoulder of their best player, world number 16 David Goffin.
If he can beat Murray on the Scot's least favorite surface (where he still reached multiple Roland Garros semifinals and even won a Masters this year in Madrid, defeating Nadal), the Belgians will have a solid chance at home.
