Australia v Spain Live
This weekend is the Fed Cup live, the premier women's team tennis event, with the men's coming up next month – The Davis Cup. This is an exciting event and we have both World Group and World Group II games this weekend. In World Group II action, Saturday and Sunday, February 6th and 7th, Poland plays Belgium, Estonia faces Argentina and Slovakia will go up against China. Also, we have Australia playing Spain. You can watch this event live simply by getting your membership at any of the banners on this page. You'll get immediate access to high quality video feeds live from the Fed Cup.
Australia is hosting this tournament, on Memorial Drive, in Adelaide, Australia and the team down under hasn't won any of the last seven games that it has played with Spain. However, Australia does have some experience winning, as they have taken the title no less than seven times and making it 2nd to the United States only in terms of most wins. The Australian team consists of Samantha Stosur this year, as well as Alicia Molik, Casey Dellacqua and Rennae Stubbs with David Taylor captaining the team.
Spain has the advantage to be sure after seven victories against Australia in a row. They have five titles under their belt, however last year they were unable to beat Serbia and the Czech Republic which brought them to relegation to World Group II. The Spanish team is made up of Anabel Medina Garrigues, Maria-Jose Martinez Sanchez, Carla Suarez Navarro and Nuria llagostera Vives as well as Captain Miguel Margets Lobato. You can watch Spain and Australia play in streaming video with your membership with the Fed Cup on February 6th and 7th.
