Argentina will be hosting the Ukraine women's tennis team on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 13:00 for the 2009 Fed Cup Championship. This ITF match will take place at the Club Nautico, an outdoor clay track in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. 

The Argentine team will be made up of some of the best women's tennis players in Argentina and the team consists of Betina Jozami, Jorgelina Cravero, Aranza Salut and Paula Ormaechea with Ricardo Rivera as Captain. Ukraine will be bringing some great players of their own, captained by Volodymyr Bogdanov. The Ukraine Team players are Alona Bondarenko, Kateryna Bondarenko, Mariya Koryttseva and Olga Savchuk. Alona Bondarenko is Kateryna Bondarenko's sister, elder by two years.

Since 2005 BNP Paribas has been the title sponsor for the International Tennis Federation's event, and more then 80 nations entered the race for the Fed Cup this year. Last year's champions was Russia when it beat Spain 4-0 to take home its 4^th crown in 5 years.
