Simone Bolelli v Roger Federer Live
In the second round of the 2015 Australian Open mens singles match the second seeds Roger Federer of Switzerland will take on unseeded Italian Simone Bolelli.
In their respective first round matches Simone Bolelli overcame another unseeded Argentinian player Juan Monaco in four sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. In the other match Roger Federer overcame a Chinese Taipei opposition in Lu Yen-hsun in straight sets 6-4, 6-2, 7-5.
Simone Bolelli, 29, has not won any career singles titles. His professional record stands at 79 wins and 112 losses. His best performance at the Australian Open is qualifying for the second round. He has done it in 2008, 2009 and 2015. His best ever grand slam performance is third round in the French Open as well as the Wimbledon.
Roger Federer, 33, has won the Australian Open four times. The last time he won it in 2010. He has won the Wimbledon a record seven times, the US Open five times and the French Open once. He has six ATP tour final titles and an Olympic gold medal along with them.
Roger Federer is in great form and should be able to ease past his Italian opponent without much difficulty.
