Rafael Nadal and Bernard Tomic are facing off in the third round of the Grand Slam, the Australian Open, which is the first one of the 2011 season of professional tennis and they will be playing at the Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, January 22^nd. This is a 7:00PM match and Nadal and Tomic will be joined by two women's singles players who are also trying to make it past the third round, Samantha Stosur and Petra Kvitova. They will be playing as well as 7:00PM on the other side of the Rod Laver Arena on Saturday.

Spanish player Rafael Nadal is the number one seed and he has played six times previously in the Open. He was the winner of the men's singles in 2009 and made it to the third round of the doubles in 2004 and 2005. As for Bernard Tomic, he has played twice in the Australian Open and his best singles performance was making it to the second round in 2009 and 2010 and to the first round in doubles in 2010.
