The Rod Laver Arena will see some great matches at 11:00AM on Day 9 of the 2011 Grand Slam Event, the Australian Open. This is the first professional tennis Grand Slam of the year, and one of the big matches in the quarterfinals is between Andrea Petkovic and Na Li. Also playing in the quarterfinals in the Rod Laver is Stanislas Wawrinka and Roger Federer, as well as Caroline Wozniacki and Francesca Shiavone. There is also a doubles event in the quarters that has yet to be announced, and all these players are trying to advance one step further. This will happen on Tuesday, January 25^th.

Andrea Petrovic has been in the Open before, having entered the women's singles with Tatjana Malek and the mixed doubles with Mariusz Frystenberg. Her best singles performance took her to the second round, so she has done quite well this year, making it to the quarterfinals. Na Ling has been entered in twice has been Opens as Petrovic at six, and she has been a semi-finalist with her performance last year, as well as making it round two in the doubles previously.
