The ATP World Tour Masters Montreal live, otherwise known as the Rogers Cup live is a tennis event on the ATP World Tour that bears an ATP 1000 Level Gold Rating, played on hard courts for an incredible purse of $2,430,000 with a singles draw of 56 and a doubles draw of 24. The time for another Master's competition has come, and this one is in Montreal. It the Canadian Open, also well known as the Rogers Cup, alternating between Montreal and Toronto, but this year falling on Montreal. It takes place at Uniprix Stadium, with nearly 200,000 spectators in attendance and this prestigious tournament was first held in 1881, becoming the oldest ongoing tournament in tennis after Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. This World Tour Master 1000 Tournament is from August 8th to August 16th, with 56 singles and 24 doubles with a massive $3,000,000 purse. The matches will be played on hard courts in Montreal, Canada.

So far Rafael Nadal is certain to attend this tournament, arriving Wednesday to begin preparing for the event. Nadal was out for a while with tendonitis in his knees and this is his first event in a few weeks. According to his website he will play both of the Master's 1000 tournament in Montreal and Cincinnati. 

 

Last year, Nadal won his second title for the Rogers Cup, at Toronto, and then made it into the semis at the U.S. Open as well as the following Masters 1000 in Cincinnati.
