The ATP Tour only has two tournaments in March. Both of the tournaments this month are going to be Masters 1000 events. The BNP Paribas Open starts on March 8^th and continues until March 20^th, and it happens in Indian Wells, California in the United States, joining the WTA Tour who is holding their own BNP Paribas Open from March 9^th through the 22^nd. As for the men, they are competing for a prize of $4,760,000 with a singles draw of 96 and a doubles draw of 32. This is the very first Masters 1000 event held during the 2011 season and the best men's and women's tennis players will be coming together to compete for the top spot in this event.

 

 

The top seed for the ATP BNP Paribas Open is Rafael Nadal, who will be competing for this third BNP Paribas Open title. The BNP Paribas Open is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament that will be held from March 11^th through the 21^st, 2010 from Indian Wells in the United States. Second seed will be Rafael Nadal, another familiar name on the top headliner list of ATP Master's tournaments, winning the tournament last year against Andy Murray with a final of 6-1, 6-2. He has 15 World Tour Masters 1000 titles.

 

 

Third seed is Novak Djokovic, who was runner up in 2007 to Nadal, and won the 2008 title for this event against Mardy Fish. Andy Murray, runner up last year is the number four seed.
