The ATP Tournament in Rotterdam is called the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament and it happens in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on hard courts indoors with a prize purse of € 1,150,000. This tournament has a singles draw of 32 and a doubles draw of 16 and will happen from February 7th to February 13th. This is a tournament that has been played since 1974 and was first won by a Dutchman named Tom Okker. However, another player from The Netherlands wouldn't win until 1995 when Richard Krajicek took the title.
The top seed for the ATP Rotterdam live is Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray will be in the number two seed spot. Then we have Robin Soderling and Tomas Berdych in the third and fourth spots, with David Ferrer and Mikhail Youzhny in the fifth and sixth seed slots. This tournament began back in 1974 and the very first title holder was Dutchman Tom Okker. However, The Netherlands has seemed lacking in tennis talent since then, going for nineteen years without a Dutch title. Richard Krajicek finally took the title home to The Netherlands in 1995. Now, those attending from the host nation think it's time for another Dutch victory, joining the likes of Arthur Ashe, Jimmy Connors and Bjorn Borg with the trophy in hand, as well as Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg.
Last year, the final match was between Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray with the British player taking home the victory after Nadal suffered a knee injury. Serbian Novak Djokovic is the top seed in this event with Nikolay Davydenko from Russia as the second seed. Third is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and the fourth seed for the ATP Rotterdam is Gael Monfils followed by Gilles Simon, Mikhail Youzhny and Ivan Ljubicic.
