Let's take a look at what's to come in the Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport. But first, a history lesson. The very first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championship was played here, incredibly all the way back in 1881 at the grass courts that now make up the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum. Eventually, that tournament became the U.S. Open, but this tournament still exists and is the only professional tournament that is played on grass in the entire continent of North America.
Now let's take a look at the top seeds for this event. At the number one position of the 32 players in the field is Sam Querrey who took runner up last year and hopes to make it to the title this year. Benjamin Becker is the second seed, from Germany, and with a history of first round exits his two previous visits to the tournament. Third is Santiago Giraldo and fourth seed is Olivier Rochus. The rest include Alejandro Falla, Michael Russell, Xavier Malisse and Rajeev Ram. Get your membership now to watch this ATP Tournament live in high quality video.
