The ATP World Tour will hold the BMW Open in Munich, Germany starting April 30th. This clay court tournament is worth more than 398,000 Euros, and has a singles draw of 28 and a doubles draw of 16. The Serbia Open 2012 will also start on the 30th of April, with the same exact stats as this tournament. Also, there is the Estoril Open, which is going to start on the 30th as well. The next event on the calendar after that is the Mutua Madrid Open, held in Madrid, Spain on clay courts for over three million dollars.
The BMW Open is one of five tournaments held in Germany on the ATP World Tour calendar. Four German players have won the title since it started in 1974. The top seed for this tournament is Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Feliciano Lopez is the second seed. Third is Marin Cilic and fourth is Mikhail Youzhny. The rest of the top eight are Philipp Kohlschreiber, Bernard Tomic, Nikolay Davydenko and Marcos Baghdatis.
