The Farmer's Classic, believe it or not, is the oldest annual professional sporting event in LA, with prize money in total equaling more than a million dollars. The top seed for this tournament is Novak Djokovic, who is right now number three in the world, but will be playing for the very first time at the Farmer's Classic. Sam Querrey is the second seed, and he will be the defending champion as well, having won the tournament last year. Querrey is actually from California, and has three titles on three different surfaces this year so far.
Radek Stepanek is the third seed, and last time he was here he won the tournament, in 2007, which was his first and only time playing. The fourth seed is Marcos Baghdatis with Ernests Gulbis as the fifth seed. Feliciano Lopez is the sixth seed and Mardy Fish is seventh. Our eighth seed for this Los Angeles, California tournament is James Blake. Get your membership now to watch tennis all year long in high quality video from your computer.
