This week in Los Angeles, California in the United States, the ATP World Tour holds the Farmer's Classic, a hard court tournament that has a singles draw of 28 and a doubles draw of 16 and features a purse of $619,500 and will be held from July 25th through the 31st. The Farmer's Classic, believe it or not, is the oldest annual professional sporting event in LA, with prize money in total equaling more than a million dollars. The top seed for this tournament is Novak Djokovic, who is right now number three in the world, but will be playing for the very first time at the Farmer's Classic. Sam Querrey is the second seed, and he will be the defending champion as well, having won the tournament last year. Querrey is actually from California, and has three titles on three different surfaces this year so far.
