The Estoril Open is a clay court tournament that starts on April 25th and finishes up on May 5th in Estoril, Portugal. It is a ATP 250 level tournament with a singles draw of 28 and a doubles draw of 16. This tournament features a prize purse of €398,250 and Estoril became a combined women's and men's event in 1998, but actually started on the Tour in 1990. It is one of three European side clay court tournaments in Spring that sees both tours compete. Past champions include Thomas Muster, Carlos Moya, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Roger Federer.
The top seed for this tournament is Robin Soderling, with Juan Martin Del Potro as second seed and Fernando Verdasco as third. Fourth and fifth seeds are Thomaz Bellucci and Gilles Simon and then sixth and seventh are Milos Raonic and Kevin Anderson. Thiemo de Bakkar is the eighth seed, and the tournament winner last year was Albert Montanes.
