Challenger Turin Live
The ATP Challenger Tour will head to Turin this week for an event that joins some other great Challenger events including a clay court tournament for €106,500 that happens in Braunschweig, Germany, and another for $50,000 ion hard courts in Winnetka, Illinois in the United States. This tournament is called the Trofeo Regione Piemonte and it will happen from June 27th to July 3rd. The first of the main draw singles is Daniel Gimeno-Traver and he comes to us from Spain, taking on Martin Fischer in the first round of the Trofeo Regione Piemonte. The second seed of this event is Carlos Berlocq, ranked at number 70 right now and hailing from Argentina. He will be playing his first round match against Ecuador's Giovanni Lapentti. Third seed in this event is 81st ranked Fillipo Volandri.
Then, we move onto the fourth and fifth seeds for thie Trofeo Regione Piemonte. They are Albert Ramos from Spain and Argetina's Diego Junqueira. They are ranked at 87th and 108th. The sixth seed is Flavio Cippola from Italy and then our seventh and eighth seeds for this event are Marc Gicquel and Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo, who come to use from France and Spain respectively.
