The ATP Challenger Tournament from Sunrise, Florida will be held March 14^th to the 21^st from the Sunrise Tennis Club. This event will showcase some of the Association of Tennis Professional's up and coming stars that you'll be seeing in larger tournaments as they get higher ranked. The tournament will feature players on the ATP Challenger Tour, which features some of the newest players in ATP Tennis. This tournament is officially called the BMW Tennis Championship and features thirteen from the top fifty ranked in the world including 27 year old Mikhail Youzhny, who has been as high as number eight on the rankings and hails from Russia. Gilles Simon from France will also be playing as well as twenty four year old Nicolas Almargo from Spain and Jurgen Melzer who is ranked number thirty one in the world right now.

The champion from last year was Robin Soderling who defeated Tomas Berdych from the Czech Republic last year 6-1, 6-1, also defeating Feliciano Lopez in the semis and Gilles Muller in the first round to get to where he could win. The 2008 champion in singles was Robin Haase. Other notable players include Jeremy Chardy and Tomas Belluci.
