On the ATP Challenger Tour this week, the ATP Challenger Salzburg Live, a tournament that happens on hard courts in Austria for 42,500 Euros. This event joins several others played on the Challenger Tour this week, including a clay court tourney for $50,000 in Montevideo, Uruguay and a hard court tournament in Illinois in the United States, also for $50,000. Bratislava, Slovakia will also be the site of a hard court tournament this week, and then the ATP Challenger Tour Finals will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil for $220,000.

The ATP Salzburg Indoors is a hard court tournament worth €42,500, and held November 15th through the 21st. The main draw has 32 singles and 16 doubles and the event began just last year, with Michael Berrer taking the first singles title, beating Jarkko Nieminen 6-7, 6-4, 6-4. Phillip Marx and Igor Zelenay took the doubles title against Sonchat Ratiwatana and Sanchai Ratiwatana with a score of 6-5, 7-5. The top seed for this tournament is Mischa Zverev from Germany with Karol Beck from the Slovak Republic taking the spot for second seed.

The Association of Tennis Professional present the ATP Salzburg indoors from November 28th to December 6th with a prize purse of 64,000 Euros on the ATP Challenger Tour as professional tennis comes to a close for the 2009 Season. This tournament is played in Salzburg, Austria and the top seed is Dudi Sela who is number 43 in the world. Sela got to the semis of the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships as well as making it to two quarter final rounds on the ATP World Tour. The ATP Salzburg starts on Saturday, November 28th.
