Challenger Rennes Live
The Challenger Tour continues this week, with Open De Rennes being the next tournament on the docket. Let us take a look at some of the players, who will be competing in France over the week.
Jeremy Chardy has been seeded first for the tournament, who is coming to France after a disappointing stint in the Australian Open series. While he did reach the quarterfinal in ASB Classic, his form in Melbourne could only take him as far as the second round. His second seeded compatriot Paul Henri Mathieu too, has been going through a similar spell. He is yet to win a match this year, given that he has been losing his opening matches in all the tournaments. The Frenchman is hoping to gain some traction by playing on the Challenger circuit. Coming to the third seed, there's the Slovak Jozef Kovalik, who last played in the Chennai Open. He had a decent performance there, having managed to reach the quarterfinal, all the way from the qualifiers.
He will be a player to look out for, in Rennes. Lastly, there's the fourth seed Sergiy Stakhovsky, who is coming in his first tournament of this season. He spent the latter half of the last season playing mainly on the Challenger tour, but to no avail.

This is the reason, combined with the liveliness of the French and the fan-following of tennis sport, that the authorities seem particularly confident while talking to the media.
The ticket hotline is still open for anyone who hasn’t bought the ticket yet, although the authorities very happily reported a much more massive response than has been seen in the previous years.
