The ATP Challenger Tennis Tournament this week is called the Prosperita Open 2011, and it will be held from April 25th to May 1st. The tournament features the number one see,, from the host country of Czech Republic, Jaroslaw Pospisil, who holds a 114th ranked position. Pospisil will face a qualifier in the first round of the tournament. The Prosperita Open will be held April 26th through May 2nd on clay courts outdoors and this tournament dates back to 2004. The draw is 32 singles, 32 qualifiers and 16 doubles and the prize purse for this event is 42,500 Euros. The tournament winner for the singles in 2009 was Jan Hajek with Ivan Dodig as runner up and a final of 7-5, 6-1. IN 2008, it was Jiri Vanek who took the number one spot with a final of 6-3, 4-6,6-1 against Czech Republic countrymate Jan Hernych. The 2009 champion for the doubles was Jan Hajek and Robin Vik.
This tournament will feature Nikola Mektic as the number one seed and Filip Krajinovic as the second seed, both of which will receive a bye into the second round.
