Challenger Mouilleron Le Captif Live
The city of Mouilleron Le Captif, France will be hosting the Internationaux De Tennis Vendee Challenger, which is set to begin from today.
The top seed has been awarded to the local favourite Benoit Paire, who holds a record of 23-32 as of his last event. He is coming in his first Challenger event of the season to develop some traction and build his form. Since the Citi Open back in July, he has failed to move past the second round in all the events he played in. Mikhail Youzhny is the next big name on the list, who incurred a disappointing defeat in the qualifiers of the Paris Masters. Like Paire, he too has been struggling with his form, and comes here for the same reason. As for the third seed, it goes to the Frenchman Paul Henri Mathieu, who reached the quarterfinal of Mons Challenger recently. However, on the ATP circuit, he has fumbled like the rest of them, with his first round loss in Paris being his most recent result.
Lastly, the Russian Konstantin Kravchuk will be playing here as the fourth seed, who won the Tashkent Challenger last month. However, he did lose in the first round of Kremlin Cup after that, to the world no. 266 Alexander Bublik.

The 2015 Internationaux De Tennis De Vendee will be the third edition in tournament history. The event is a hard court competition held in Mouilleron Le Captif, France.
Despite being a fairly new tournament, the €64,000 total prize money is more than decent. Enough in fact, to not only lure in some quality home talent but several other top 100 players well. Remarkably, all eight seeds were in the top 100 on the day the draw has been made. Several of them slipped out since, but this is still an amazing feat from the organizers. Not just that, but they actually managed to bring in the third best French player after Jo Wilfried Tsonga and Gilles Simon, the 26-year-old Benoit Paire. Paire is currently the 20th player in the world which is also a career high ranking for him. A very talented player who could realistically aim even higher, Paire will be the overwhelming favorite during the week.
He will be followed by the other seeds, his compatriot Adrian Mannarino, then Teymuraz Gabashvili, Sergiy Stakhovsky, Lucas Pouille, Marcel Granollers, Paul-Henri Mathieu and Marsel Ilhan. Out of the eight seeded players, Paire, Stakhovsky and Mathieu are all ATP titlists.
