The nineteenth edition of Kentucky Bank Tennis Championship is a professional and exciting tennis tournament played on the beautiful outdoor courts of Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The tournament will start on the coming Monday 21stJuly and end on 27th July, 2014.

Kentucky Bank Tennis Championship is played under the banner of ATP Challenger Tour who is responsible for organizing and promoting tennis all over the world. 


Players from all over the world have come to United States with the hope of winning the tournament for their respective countries. Over the year Kentucky Bank Tennis Championship has earned a respect and hence players are practicing hard to win this championship.

The Challenger Lexington is scheduled to take place on the clay courts of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, USA. It will feature a total prize of $100,000 that covers both men and women.

The tournament will feature a total of 32 singles matches and a total of 16 doubles matches. It’s to be played from 22nd July to 28th July, 2013 and we can choose to buy a daily ticket or a week long pass for the whole tournament.


Both the Men and Women participants will have the same prize money and the tournament will raise money for the Lexington Challenger Tennis Charity which was made in 2012.


Many tennis stars were once given recognition from this tournament, these include John Isner, James Blake, Tommy Haas, Lleyton Hewitt, Katarina Srebotnik, Justin Gimmelstob and many others.


This time the players include Marchenko who has played in all four Grand Slams and has beaten the former World No. 1 Carlos Moya in 2010.

We also have Rochus who is the shortest player on the ATP but definitely one of the best. Overall, this tournament will be one to watch for upcoming talent as well as getting an idea of where average level tennis is at currently.

On the ATP Challenger Tour this week, an event in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States that will be officially called the Fifth Third Bank Tennis Championships, and held from the 21st to the 29th of July. This is a hard court tournament that is held for $50,000 and is one of the larger events on the tour this week. The surface will be hard courts, deco turf and some of the other events that will be played this week include the $50,000 event in Wuhan, China and the $125,000 hard court tournament that is in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The winner of this tournament will get to take home a prize that is worth $7200 and will also get 80 points. The finalist will receive $4240 and get 48 points and then semifinalists get 29 points and $2510. The top seed for this event will be Maxime Authom who is currently ranked at 183rd. The second seed is Victor Estrella and then third is Adrian Mannarino. Fourth seed is Denis Kudla and Jamie Baker takes the fifth spot. Sixth is Augustin Velotti and James Duckworth is seventh. The eighth seed of this tournament is Erik Chvojka.
