The Eskisehir Cup is an annual outdoor clay court tournament held in Eskisehir, Turkey. The 2015 edition will be the second one of the tournament, and it will have a €42,500 total prize money. The defending champion of the event is world number 18 David Goffin who has moved on to bigger and better things since.

He won’t try to defend his title from last year, instead he will take this week off and try to recuperate until the Roland Garros which will start in less than a week. This has somewhat changed for this season, as there will only be one top 100 player in the main draw, world number 94 Paolo Lorenzi. In the absence of the Belgian, the Italian will probably be the main favorite to take home the title and along with it most of that above mentioned prize money.

The Challenger Tour has reached the confines of Eskisehir, Turkey on July 15th, 2013, and is scheduled to continue the tournament there on hard courts till the 21st July, 2013.

The authorities have so far released a list to the press that is based on no less than thirty-two tennis players. More than 15 countries have been enlisted so far that will be sending in their players to liven up the tournament. 


The tournament is expected to create a huge stir among the fans, and the authorities are expecting a massive turnover of people at the stadiums. Among the players who will be playing for the trophy in this tour, a number of eminent names have been highlighted. These include Benzvi of ISR, Ilhan of TUR, Gabashvili of RUS and Beck of SVK and many others. 


The tennis players will clash with their rackets in both singles and doubles schedules which can be viewed on the news channels and the internet.

The prize money announced for the tournament is 42,500 pounds. The tournament is already underway, yet the authorities have ensured that the tickets will continue to remain available online until the last match of this part of the tour starts.
