February 2nd through the 6th will see the ATP Challenger Circuit come to Dallas, Texas in America for the Challenger of Dallas, a Challenger level tournament for the up and comers of ATP tennis, played alongside the Burnie, International in Australia. The event is played at the T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas and it will be an exciting tournament with lots of talent hitting the hard courts for $50,000. Mark Philippoussis is just one of the names that you'll see on the courts in Dallas, with finals at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. He also stood for Australia in the Davis and Hopman Cups. This two time Grand Slam finalist will certainly bring his skill and talent and the other players in the line-up will have to go above and beyond to keep up. The Challenger of Dallas will also see Robert Kendrick, Jesse Levine and American Michael Russell as well as Kevin Anderson with the list of talent seeming to be bursting this year.
Jesse Levine starts us off this year as the top seed in the tournament and in round one the American will be facing another U.S. Player, Alex Bogomolov Jr. Second seed is Carsten Ball from Australia, and third is American player Robert Kendrick. The fourth seed for the Challenger of Dallas will be Kevin Anderson followed by fifth seed Michael Yani as well as Jesse Witten, Ryan Sweeting and Ramon Delgado.
