Challenger Casablanca Live
The Morocco Tennis Tour Casablanca begins from Monday, featuring some of the experienced names on the tour, competing to get some traction and some much needed confidence.
Damir Dzumhur has been awarded the top seed, who is coming in this event after losing out in the first round in Moselle Open a few weeks back. The world no. 77 hasn't had the best of the season off lately, but he will be definitely keen on securing the Challenger trophy. The second seeded player is Gerald Melzer, who has failed to move past the quarterfinal in his last four Challenger events. His last event was the Sibiu Open, where he lost his opening match itself. It will be interesting to see how he will perform here. Daniel Gimeno Traver of Spain will also be participating in the tournament, who has been given the third seed. He too has been struggling a lot with his form, with his best run coming in Cordenons. His compatriot Roberto Carballes Baena is also playing in the tournament, who has been playing in the Morocco Tennis Tour.
With still no challenger trophy this year, he certainly has been working hard enough to get his hands on one. This will be an intriguing event to watch.
