Challenger Buenos Aires Live
The Copa Fila Challenger will be played this week in the charming city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Let us take a look at the players who will be playing in the tournament.
Horacio Zeballos is coming in this tournament, fresh from his first round defeat in the Moselle Open. His performance on the Challenger events too, off lately, hasn't been that great either. He certainly is bound to face heavy resistances from a lot of other players. Facundo Bagnis is the second seeded player here, who last won the Claro Open in Medellin. Fresh from that win and sailing high on confidence, the Argentinean player can certainly go the distance here. He also has a decent record in Brazil, having been the quarter finalist in Santos Challenger. His compatriot Carlos Berlocq too will be playing in the competition as the third seed. Berloq's last tournament was the Banja Luka Challenger, where he reached the third round. Prior to that, he reached the semifinal in Genova. Thiago Monteiro also looks quite dangerous as the moment, having been the runner-up in Santos.
While his form prior to that hasn't been that particularly impressive, his antics on the Challenger tour may surprise others. All in all, this will be a good event to follow.

The Buenos Aires Challenger (or as otherwise called, the Racket Club Open) is an outdoor clay court Challenger level tournament held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This year's event will be the very first edition in tournament history but with a hefty, $75,000 totally prize money, the organizers were able to bring in some premier clay court talent. The top seed of the event will be one-time ATP titlist Horacio Zeballos who shocked the world in 2013 by defeating Rafael Nadal in the Vina del Mar final. Almost three years have passed since that day and while Zeballos couldn't exactly replicate his so far best win of his career, he remains a consistent Challenger level player and someone who is usually either inside the top 100 or just outside of it. While he is probably the biggest name of the draw, we cannot say for certain that he will be the biggest favorite to raise the trophy on Sunday. The truth is that all of the eight seeds are extremely close to each other in the ranking and each and any of them could find themselves winning the event.
Zeballos, Rogerio Dutra Silva or Joao Souza, any of these South Americans could win, not to mention third seed Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena.

The COPA FILA Tournament is an outdoor clay court event annually held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of the last clay court events of the fall South American Challenger Tour, currently offering a € 64,000 total prize money to its competitors.
This year's event will be the fifth edition in tournament history, which means the event was first held back in 2010. Each of the previous three tournaments were won by a South American player, the first three by an Argentine before the Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas went all the way last year. By that time he was already an ATP titlist, the first one in the event's short history. Cuevas won't compete at this year's event, but the organizers still managed to lure in the best Argentine players not called Juan (naturally neither Del Potro nor Monaco will compete). The top seed will be one of the two ATP titlists in the main draw, world number 53 Federico Delbonis.
He will be followed by Guido Pella, Diego Schwartzman, Damir Dzumhur, Kyle Edmund, Rogerio Dutra da Silva, Facundo Argunes and the other ATP titlist, Carlos Berlocq (he won twice at that level). Judging by those names, it would be borderline shocking if the winner wouldn't be an Argentine player.
