The official name of this Challenger Tour event is the NORD/LB Open 2010 and it takes place from June 29th to July 4th, played on clay courts. Thirty two players make up the main draw in the singles tournament starting with top seed Pablo Cuevas from Uruguay, who will be taking on Wildcard Gaston Gaudio from Argentina in the first round. Second seed is a hometown boy from Germany, Andreas Beck, taking on Yuri Schukin in round one. Third seed for this tournament is Dustin Brown, who hails from Jamaica.

This is the Nord LB Open, an event played outdoors on red clay, and features the up and coming players of the ATP Challenger Tour. It has been held at the Braunschweiger Tennis and Hockey Club since 1994. The 2008 winners were Nicolas Devilder, who beat Sergio Roitman in the men's singles 6-4, 6-4 while the doubles champs were Marco Crugnola and Oscar Hernandez, who defeated Wener Eschauer and Philipp Oswald in two sets. The men's singles champion for 2007 was Oscar Hernandez and Jan Hajek took it in 2006. Then it was Hernandez again for the 2005 season.
2007 Doubles had Tomas Behrend and Christopher Kas taking home the trophy, and then again the Germans took home the title in the 2006 season, beating Maximo Gonzales and Sergio Roitman in 2006, and Oscar Hernandez and Carlos Poch-Gradin in 2007. The draw for this tournament is 32S, 16Q and 16D. The total purse is 106,500 Euros.
