BRD Brasov Challenger 2014 is the most awaited tennis events that is played under the mark of ATP Challenger Tour and is starting from 2nd of September and will be played till 7th of the September.

It will be played on the clay courts at Brasov, Romania and is the 19th edition of the tournament going to be played under the label of ATP Challenger Tour. This tournament embraces prize money of 35,000 Euros for the winning player.


Last year BRD Brasov Challenger single was won by Austrian player Andreas Haider Maurer and the double was won by Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Jaroslav Pospíšil.


2013 singles champion Andreas Haider-Maurer is taking part in 2014 tournament and is full of energy and spirit to grab it again.


This year too, many talented tennis players from all over the world are participating to make the tennis lovers available with some nail biting and exciting matches throughout the week. 


Some names of the single main entrants are Pere Riba, Adrian Ungur, Facundo Argüello Chase Buchanan, Gerald Melzer, Marius Copil and many more.

A highly intensive and equally popular tennis tournament played on the clay court was the famous 2013 BRD Brasov Challenger. Its popularity moved it to be included in the 2013 ATP Challenger Tour and it was not before its 18th successful edition that it got its place in the ATP challenger Tour for 2013.

The tournament took place in the beautiful place Brasov, Romania and was a great success as people enjoyed a lot watching the intense competitions.


There are eight players from different countries competing in the challenge and are highly motivated and charged up to win the contest. The level of excitement has reached its peak with 2nd of September and contest has started.


Andreas Haider-Maurer from Austria is seed number one in the competition and is hopeful to win the contest with its world ranking of 88. While following him are the Adrian Ungur from Romania and Julian Reister from Germany who are equally hopeful that they would stand first at the end of the tournament.
