The 2015 event will be the eighth edition in tournament history. When we take a look at the previous winners, we can instantly see that the event is completely dominated by French players. Out of the seven tournaments so far, five was won by a home player. Not only that but we also had as many as three all-French finals.

This is of course not a surprise, not only are we talking about a French tournament, but also what probably the second deepest talent pool at the moment. Spain’s talent is certainly better and they give as many as 12 players to the top 100, but France comes in second giving seven members to the top 100.

The only repeat champion in tournament history is Marc Gicquel who won’t participate in this year’s event. The biggest favorites for the tournament will probably be top seed Sergiy Stakhovsky or one of the home players.

This will be held in France, in Bordeaux at the Villa Primrose, which is a great luxury location to hold such a tournament. It has been held there all the since 2008, every single year.

The previous winners of this tournament were Gael Monfils and runner up Michael Llodra, both of France. Players from all around the world come here to compete for the total prize of 85,000 Euros.

Even though this is an international tournament, most of the talent comes from France, since obviously it is situated in France. But there are people from other countries.

This tournament also features Doubles of which last year the winners were Christopher Kas of Germany and Austria’s Oliver Marach. So this tournament brings to you the entire package of a good tournament.
