The ATP Challenger Belgrade Live is next week on the ATP Challenger Circuit, the tour that gives up and coming tennis professionals a chance to show that they can rise up through the rankings and starting shining on the ATP regular tour. This event is from February 15^th through the 21^st, and is played on carpet for a prize purse of 106,500 Euros. The official name of this tournament is the Gemax Open 2010, and is part of the Association of Tennis Professionals Challenger Tour. The Challenger Tour is newly named as of 2008, where it was previously called the ATP Challenger Series. It is the second highest level of competition, open to tennis professionals who aren't quite ready for the big leagues yet but still have skills that put them above others. The ATP Challenger Tour features events all over the world and runs tournaments most of the year.

Last year we began the series with the Prime Aberto de Sao Paulo which was held in Brazil. The Gemax Open 2009 was won by Viktor Troicki, who played and won against Dominik Hrbaty in the final with a score of 6-4, 6-2, an easy two set game.
