The ATP 250 Tour continues with the Catella Swedish Open starting on July 13^th. The draw is set for the tournament, and these men will be playing on ground that the women of the WTA just left behind, Bastad. They are playing on clay for a prize of of 450,000 Euros. The tournament will last for seven days, ending on Sunday the 19^th. There are many great matchups in the first round of play, one that will be particularly interesting to watch is the meet between Marat Safin and Nicolas Almagro. The top four seeds are Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, Robin Soderling and Jurgen Melzer. These four receive an automatic bye into round two and will not be participating in the first round of tournament.

In the doubles, the top four pairs are Simon Aspelin from Sweden and Australia's Paul Hanley, Jaroslav Levinsky from the Czech Republic and Filip Polasek, Marc Lopez and Tommy Robredo, both from Spain and Sweden's Johan Brunstrom and Jean-Julian Rojer. Aspelin and Hanley will face Michail Elgin and Frank Moser, from Russia and Germany respectively, while Levinsky and Polasek will play James Cerratani from the U.S and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.   Lopez and Robredo will be matched up with the Netherland's Rogier Wassen and Igor Zelenay while Robert Lindstedt and Robin Soderling, both Swedes, will play Brunstrom and Rojer.

Back to the singles: There are four qualifying spots open, with the first qualifier taking on Alberto Martin. Then, Grigor Dimitrov and Frederico Gil will each play a qualifier, while the last spot will be pitted against Julien Benneteau.
